Nelson Chamisa at Crossroads  By Hosia Mviringi 03 December 2018 Education can be bought, yet Wisdom cant. Education can be replaced, yet Wisdom cant, Education can come from mankind, Yet Wisdom is not found from there. Unotoshaya kuti chikoro basa racho nderei.Kana zvakadaro ini hangu handichada kudzidza. The MDC Alliance is full of learned people. We can safely say that some of the big legal brains locally reside in MDC Alliance. But what baffles me is how they would all fail to read and acquaint themselves with the Terms of reference of the Commission of Inquiry. Having been empowered at law to appoint and Constitute such a Commission, Clause 8 of the terms of reference make it clear that President Mnangagwa will recieve the final report and use his discretion to decide what to do with the recommendations therein. Also the learned lawyers, in the company of their learned lawyers failed to realise that by appearing before the Commission they were virtually ...
BREAKING NEWS: MDC Alliance Plans to Tarnish ZANU PF as a Violent Party to the World.  By Hosia Mviringi 28 November 2018. In a desperate turn of events intelligence gathered so far indicate a burning desire by the MDC Alliance Party to exert pressure on the ZANU PF led government by framing the ZANU PF Party as a VIOLENT  Party. This is an idea by the MDC Alliance leadership as represented by Shakespear Mukoyi and Happymore Chidziva aka Bvondo on behalf of Nelson Chamisa to pile pressure on the leadership of President Emmerson Mnangagwa to consider a Transitional governing arrangement that will include Chamisa as a way of restoring peace and harmony in the land. The MDC Alliance leader Nelson Chamisa seems to be still in denial that his chance is long gone and that he will have to wait for the next election in 2023. The MDC Alliance leader plans to take advantage of the presence of the Seven Commissioners who have been conducting public hearings into the August 01...

Chamisa fully culpable for 01 August violence in Harare

Chamisa Fully Culpable for August 01 2018 Violence in Harare.   By Hosia Mviringi 28 November 2018 A Linda Masarira morning to you all. Chamisa is one such confused leader. He denies knowledge of and ever inciting or encouraging his supporters to protest on the 1st of August 2018. He forgets that when he visited the injured at Parirenyatwa soon after the violence he actually invited an entourage of both local and international media, before whom he expressed outrage but tacitly claimed parternity of the injured and deceased protesters. His spokesman Nkululeko Sibanda had to rush to HICC to convene an urgent presser thereafter where he tried hard without success to do a fire fight after realising the fatal error by Chamisa of admitting to have influenced the protesters. I am one of the people who attended the Presser at HICC as part of the Media where I personally demanded that Chamisa comes to address us for he had clearly taken credit for what he viewed and percieved...
Question of Unity and Progress. To be or not to be. By Hosia Mviringi 16 November 2018. As Zimbabweans we stand ready to Build this Country together. The only option available, especially for opposition leaders, supporters and activists, is to UNITE behind the legitimately elected leader of this country who is none other than President ED Mnangagwa. The moment they continue this circus of disregarding the lawful will of the people of Zimbabwe we will not go anywhere as a nation. This insistence on a never ending protest by the opposition will only lead us to more animosity and increased polarisation. President Mnangagwa announced soon after elections that his door is open, his arms wide open to welcome fellow Zimbabweans to the table for nation building. But Chamisa's arrogance, big headedness and self entitlement has gotten us here. Now his leverage for any peace talks has disappeared and his stock greatly diminished. He has got only himself to blame and Zimbanweans should...

Is it all about Currency reforms or there is more to it ?

*Is it all about Currency reforms or there is more to it ?* By Hosia Mviringi 21 October 2018. Lets look at our problems holistically. My view is that or nation has never had any Economic Crisis. But we have focused on the wrong target and thus our solutions may never work.We have suffered a Foreign Policy crisis for over two decades now, but our biggest Crisis has been lack of CONFIDENCE. We have a sound economy with a resilient infrastructure and an intelligent human capital base. Those to me are the most important ingredients to a functional economy. There are some countries in the region and internationally with worse economies than ours but still enjoy a degree of stability. Take for example what could be better in a Zambian or Mozambican economies that makes these countries more stable and  habitable than Zimbabwe ? We still have clean streets here, beatiful buildings and intelligent and hardworking citizenry, a peaceful environment for 38years , yet we rank as having ...
How Zimbabwe can avoid Dictatorships : Lessons to learn from history. By Hosia Mviringi 18 October 2018 Dictatorships are a creation of mankind , they are not a natural phenomenon and thus can be managed. Most dictatorships are a result of complacency and or willful inaction by citizens.Active citizen participation can stop dictatorships in their infancy.  If I had my way I would seriously advocate for a law that limits the number of Political Parties in Zimbabwe to three (3). All other small Parties will be required to disband and all interested persons encouraged to join bigger parties and fight for positions therein. To me this creates a health competituon for ideas and it discourages building of fifdoms by power hungry leaders. Lets take for example if such brilliant leaders as Nkosana Moyo, Simba Makoni and others would all join the MDC. I think Chamisa would be kept on his toes inorder to beat the competition. But currently what do we have ? We have a scenario whe...
Welcome Back to Harare - The Sunshine City.  By Hosia Mviringi 24 September 2018 I have never Harare this clean. Neither had I imagined that we can return this Harare to be a business friendly city again. I had also never thought that it is still possible to enforce local by-laws anymore. I had never thought that this upside down state of our Cities would be overturned and restored again one day. I had never thought that one day trash would remember where it belongs, in the dust bin. I had never thought that our people would one day understand that overstaying in illegality and overdoing the wrong things dont make them a right. I had long prayed for restoration of our Cities , our Country and our people's dignity. We are a people who should be be governed by laws.Even animals do have their own Laws of the jungle which are governed by nature. I also had never thought that our authorities would muster the courage to bite the bullet and do the right thing...
