Neither had I imagined that we can return this Harare to be a business friendly city again. I had also never thought that it is still possible to enforce local by-laws anymore. I had never thought that this upside down state of our Cities would be overturned and restored again one day. I had never thought that one day trash would remember where it belongs, in the dust bin. I had never thought that our people would one day understand that overstaying in illegality and overdoing the wrong things dont make them a right. I had long prayed for restoration of our Cities , our Country and our people's dignity.We are a people who should be be governed by laws.Even animals do have their own Laws of the jungle which are governed by nature. I also had never thought that our authorities would muster the courage to bite the bullet and do the right thing...

MDC Alliance Walk out-Who is the Winner ? By Hosia Mviringi. 19 September 2018 On 18 September 2018 as is the norm the President of the Republic of Zimbabwe Cde ED Mnangagwa presided over the official opening of the inaugural Parlimentary Session of the second Republic.The first such without the imposing figure of the former leader Robert Mugabe. What a momentous occassion it was. But it was not without drama. As expected and as has become the norm for the MDC opposition lawmakers, in their usual childish manner, trooped out of the house as the President was delivering His opening remarks.This is the occassion when the Agenda for the whole Parliamentary session is spelt out.Call me a lawmaker if I miss such an event ? What a crude joke ! The oppositon Lawmakers did not miss a chance to pluck a leaf from Tsvangirai's playbook who had become known as Mr Boycott. On 30 July Zimbabwean voted for the government of their choice which was however contested by the MDC at ConCourt....

Today people of Zimbabwe in general and MDC Alliance supporters in particular woke up to a shocking headline in the Press screaming " Victoria Falls Mayor forced to step down". Honestly this kind of a headline got me curious as it invoked in me and possibly in many others the old memories of the days when Ignatious Chombo was Minister of Local Government.During those days I can assure you that this was not an unusual headline.Its the era when most local authorities were subjected to Commissions and such other vices for alleged mosmanagement and insurbodination. Today it was not Chombo in action.Neither was it any government induced action on an elected public official.
