Nelson Chamisa at Crossroads

Education can be bought, yet Wisdom cant.
Education can be replaced, yet Wisdom cant,
Education can come from mankind, Yet Wisdom is not found from there.

Unotoshaya kuti chikoro basa racho nderei.Kana zvakadaro ini hangu handichada kudzidza.

The MDC Alliance is full of learned people. We can safely say that some of the big legal brains locally reside in MDC Alliance.

But what baffles me is how they would all fail to read and acquaint themselves with the Terms of reference of the Commission of Inquiry.

Having been empowered at law to appoint and Constitute such a Commission, Clause 8 of the terms of reference make it clear that President Mnangagwa will recieve the final report and use his discretion to decide what to do with the recommendations therein.

Also the learned lawyers, in the company of their learned lawyers failed to realise that by appearing before the Commission they were virtually appearing and testifying before President Mnangagwa, a man they riddicle and pretend not to recognise as President of the Republic.

The learned Lawyers went before the Mnangagwa appointed Commission and feign not to recognise his Presidency yet they take oath to testify before him through the Commission.
Saka chikoro hachisandi.Izvi zvandiri kutaura hazvidi Doctor of Laws Degree but Common sense.

Thereafter they victimised Elias Mudzuri for attending a function at Statehouse as leader of the opposition MDC Alliance in Senate.

They allege that they dont recognise President Mnangagwa as the Legitimate President of the Repuplic yet they were busy clamouring for dialogue with the President through his appointed Commission.

Mssr Elias Mudzuri's crime is that he went in there at Statehouse without seeking the express permission of the Glorified leader.

Also surprising is the fact that none of the MDC Alliance MPs was victimised or fired for attending and taking oath  of Parliament before President Mnangagwa at Statehouse and thereafter attending and feasting on a banquet which the President hosted for them therafter.

Until now, ironically, the MDC Alliance MPs are part of the Government led by President Mnangagwa, yet their leader out there continues to riddicle the President as illegitimate.
What double standards !

Lots of contradictions in the opposition MDC Alliance camp.
It all but defies logic.

Why dont they just walk out and resign from Parliament enmass in Protest if they truly mean their word ? One cannot have their cake and eat it.
Meanwhile their MPs are still clamouring for their Parliamentary 4×4 vehicles.

If I were Professor Mthuli Ncube I would tell them that they wont get them until they recognise the Head of State and Government, especially after they disrupted the very Budget presentation in Parliament which would cater for their financial needs.

The MDC Alliance cannot choose when and when not to recognise President Mnangagwa as the Legitimate leader of this country.

Thus President Mnangagwa's insistence that for any dialogue Mr Chamisa and his party need to formally and publicly recognise him as the legitimate leader of this country.

The MDC Alliance find themselves in a total quandary as of now.If Chamisa and the MDC Alliance recognise President Mnangagwa they would literally have conceded defeat and would thus have to subject themselves to him like any other ordinary citizen, meaning that any special treatment or regard becomes part of history.

But this he has to do because time is not on his side.He is desperate for power. He understands that a position in this government will consolidate his internal Party position ahead of their next year Congress at which he is expected to face stiff competition from internal rivals.

Now Mr Chamisa has every reason to be very scared. He is treading on a delicate wire line.
It is also very difficult for Mr Chamisa to demand that this Commission report be made public without knowing the contents therein. It could be suicidal.Yet a delay would have the effect of prolonging his anxiety ahead of their decisive Congress next year.
Chamisa would have been better advised not to start numerous wars on many fronts at the same time.
We will be witnesses.

 Icho !
